PROJECTS
WHAT WE ARE
WORKING ON
Guiding Communities from Heartbreak to Healing
Turning insights into actions, helping families rebuild their resilience and future.
This initiative supports the recovery of evacuated communities following October 7 through in-depth data analysis. Collaborating with Indicate and Tel Aviv University’s ResWell, New Land collects and analyzes data on community resilience.
The insights, shared in regular reports, guide stakeholders in making informed decisions for the affected communities. In parallel we developed with Tel Aviv university and with leading professionals a resilience index. The index ensures that investments lead to quantifiable improvements in resilience, optimizing resources for a faster recovery And measure impact. The first report has been published, with the second (one year from October 7th ) just published recently.
A Safe Haven for Healing and Growth
Creating a sanctuary where individuals can heal, connect, and rediscover their strength.
The Healing Village is a therapeutic and cultural center, addressing the mental health needs of Western Negev residents. Located in Kibbutz Sa’ad, it offers a holistic approach to healing through psychological, behavioral, and social therapies.
The center will host workshops, group therapy, and one-on-one counseling, creating a space for community growth and resilience. Partnerships with Homiyah and leaders like Prof. Shlomo Mendlovic and enhance the program’s offerings, which include cutting-edge treatments like hyperbaric medicine for PTSD. The village is set to become a hub of rehabilitation and strength for the region. In parallel we are going to start with mini village soon as we dont havre time to wait for the village buildup that will take time
Strengthening Communities, One Connection at a Time
Building a resilient, thriving future through shared experiences and meaningful partnerships.
This network of community-run social pubs is enhancing local resilience by bringing together municipalities, philanthropic organizations, and dedicated volunteers. By working side-by-side to build these pubs, volunteers find purpose and meaning—especially vital for those facing trauma. These pubs become cultural and social hubs, offering a space for creativity, solidarity, and healing.
We are also forging a partnership with Tarbut (https://tarbutmovement.org/en/), further establishing these pubs as cultural spaces for the Western Negev communities. Through a mix of local support, external sponsorship, and volunteer-driven efforts, we aim to foster a sense of togetherness, helping these communities thrive in the face of adversity.
